Overview:
In this condo remodel, several key updates were made to transform the space into a modern and functional home. The electrical panel was upgraded to ensure safety and efficiency. In the living room, in-floor outlets were installed for easy access to power without the need for unsightly cords. The bathroom received an upgrade with the addition of an in-ground drain and expansion valve plumbing for the water heater. Throughout the entire condo, the floors were self-leveled and replaced with new luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, accompanied by fresh baseboards. New light fixtures and fans were installed to enhance the lighting and airflow in every room. The bathroom received a custom vanity with a beautiful quartzite counter, a sleek vessel sink, and a modern faucet. The entire space was given a fresh coat of paint, and in the master bedroom, a stunning ceiling mural was added to create a unique and personalized touch. This condo remodel not only improved the functionality and aesthetics of the space but also added value to the property.

Customer's Pain points & Why a Refresh was necessary:
In a recent project at Revitalize Construction, we encountered a condo with a myriad of issues that significantly impacted the homeowner's comfort and pride in their space. The condo was plagued by low-quality craftsmanship, a remnant of previous unpermitted work. This was most evident in the tile flooring, which was uneven and riddled with undulations and cracks, severely detracting from the aesthetic appeal of the home. The condition was so disappointing that the homeowner felt embarrassed to host guests. Electrical problems were another major concern. The underpowered electrical panel, coupled with improperly wired circuits, led to outlets frequently popping when used, posing both inconvenience and safety concerns. Furthermore, the plumbing for the water heater was not up to code, a constant worry for the homeowner, especially when away on vacations or work trips. The hall bathroom also presented an issue, with its outdated fixtures and overall tired appearance. These pain points made it abundantly clear that a comprehensive remodel was not just desirable, but necessary.

Revitalize Construction took on the challenge to transform this condo into a modern, functional, and inviting space. Addressing the uneven and cracked tile flooring was our first order of business, ensuring a smooth and visually appealing finish. To tackle the electrical issues, we updated the wiring and strategically installed new floor outlets in the living room. This not only enhanced safety but also eliminated the need for unsightly extension cords, offering more flexibility in furniture arrangement. We upgraded the plumbing for the water heater to meet current code standards. This involved the addition and routing of a new expansion drain, along with the main drain from the water heater. We carefully directed these under the concrete floor, extending them outside, and ultimately down to the designated location. This ensured a more efficient and compliant plumbing system and alleviating the homeowner's worries about potential leaks. The transformation of the hall bathroom was particularly striking, with the installation of contemporary fixtures and a fresh new look. Through these targeted renovations, we were able to address each of the homeowner's pain points, revitalizing their space into a home they can be proud of and eager to share with guests.
